Muzium Sungai Lembing

The Sungai Lembing Museum is run by the Jabatan Muzium dan Antikuiti  aimed at disseminating information and displaying the historical treasures found in the river and in the state of Pahang in general. Visitors here will certainly be treated to an interesting knowledge of the underground tin mine that was once recognized as one of the world's largest and oldest tin ore mines.

Masjid Sultan Ahmad 1

The Sultan Ahmad 1 Mosque is Pahang’s official state mosque. It is located in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia and was developed in the vicinity of 1991 and 1993 by DZJ Architect and Associates. It is named after the recorded Sultan Ahmad al-Mu’azzam Shah Ibni Almarhum Bendahara Sri Maharaja Tun Ali (23 May 1836 – 9 May 1914) who was the sixth Raja Bendahara of Pahang and the founder and first modern Sultan of Pahang that established Pahang’s present regal family

This mosque faces the city’s wide civil field, an appreciated open green region encompassed likewise by other imperative and heritages from the pioneer to the advanced time and is a vacation destination with the mosque as focal point. The mosque is worked in a modernized Ottoman-Moorish Islamic style, with four rocket-like minarets and a huge half-round improved vault flanked by four littler arches.
